Chase, Capital One and Barclaycard join as launch partners for Isis mobile payment service

Isis mobile payment is an NFC-based service that allows users to load their credit, debit and prepaid cards into their Isis Mobile Wallet, much like the Google Wallet system. Even though Isis is backed by AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, it couldn’t seem to compete in relation to its counterparts. A new partnership with Chase, Capitol One, and Barclaycard, in addition to its current base of supporters, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, should allow the system to come out ahead when it launches. The date is still unclear, but expected around the middle of the calendar year of 2012.
