Google Wallet comes to Nexus phones on AT&T and Verizon

This is a disruptive technology. The introduction of Near Field Communication (NFC) chips has finally started to take hold in the US. We already know that over seas, many Countries are using NFC to pay with their phones.

Until now, only one phone on one carrier (Nexus S on Spring), was capable of  supporting Google Wallet to pay with the NFC chip in your mobile device. Now, AT&T and Verizon are in on the fun with a recent update to the app. If you have a Nexus S or GSM Galaxy Nexus, then you can pick up Google Wallet in the Android Market.

This will have a huge effect on the mobile market because as more retailers and individuals start accepting Google Wallet as a method of payment, more people will be purchasing NFC capable phones.
