More Privacy Find My Friends app

It is hard to talk about privacy on apps that require GPS to function.  Find My Friend app is an application that provides users with a accurate location of their friends upon proper request of course. Developers have came up with a way to give the app more privacy in a sense of accuracy.  According to a new patent application by Apple, users can adjust/customize the amount of information that is being given as far as location by adjusting the precision bar.  Now users have a choice on whether they want to allow friends to know where their exact location is , or what neighborhood, town, or city they are in.  I can see this functionality being used in other application in the months to come.  If there is a function that allows you to “give some but not all”, then people would be amped to use it.  For more information:
