RIM, the makers of Blackberry, announced its partnering with Paratek Adaptive RF, a company that develops tunable solutions for wireless communications applications. New technological updates will allow Blackberry users to upload and download large amounts of data faster, making for longer battery life, and a new antennae design will make phones smaller and thinner. However, it is important to note that BlackBerry sales have significantly decreased lately, so this new improvement comes at a time of great pressure and uncertainty for RIM in the marketplace.
