Google updates Android design guidelines

Google’s director of Android user experience Matias Duarte announced changes to the Android design guidelines which help app developers make better apps. The update is based specifically on how developers should and shouldn’t use the settings menu in their apps as well as adding new guidelines about navigation, specifically regarding “navigating between apps” and “navigating into apps via widgets or the notification menus”.
