Sprint has confirmed that it has started updating the Samsung Galaxy Nexus to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Though GSM variants of the device were updated to Jelly Bean in July, Sprint’s CDMA/LTE model is seeing the upgrade for the first time. The new software shortens load times, and reduces buffering for faster transitions when switching between apps. It also adds expandable notifications, better voice dictation and search, and the new search app that includes Google Now. Sprint has also confirmed that within the next week, all Sprint Nexus S 4G devices should be updated as well.
