On Septemeber 12th, Apple made a change to their developer guidelines by adding a clause that stated, “Apps that display Apps other than your own for purchase or promotion in a manner similar to or confusing with the App Store will be rejected.” However, they have recently changed that clause that  will allow developers and their” apps to display other items on the App Store, including other apps, for purchase directly.” So, what does this mean? We now know that Apple will not ban apps that promote the sale of other various apps in the Apple store. Experts believe that this is a smart move that promotes, “an organic way to promote App Store growth and help surface good stuff for iOS users.”
