NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — In the crowded mobile payments space, a major player is about to make a long-awaited debut.

It’s partnering up with major retailers including Foot Locker (FL, Fortune 500), 7-Eleven,McDonald’s (MCD, Fortune 500) and Sports Authority.
