BIA released the findings of a new study showing that small business spending on their digital presence is trending up. So where are these businesses spending their cash? The study shows heightened expenses for websites, social, mobile and even loyalty programs.
Last year at this time only 8.7 percent of identified businesses had a mobile website. Today, there is an increase to 14.7 percent. Another 22 percent say they intend to add one within the next 12 months.
With the rise in mobile smart phone users, mobile websites are were it seems to be at for more and more small businesses. I think we will only see a continued rise. This means more work for developers in creating and maintaining the effectiveness of these mobile sites.
