Kickfolio Brings iOS Applications To The Browser

Kickfolio is a neat little start-up backed company that is really making a push to be relevant. Kickfolio offers, “a way for developers to upload builds of their mobile applications to its platform, allowing others to then interact with the apps on the web, as opposed to having to download a test build locally to their mobile device.” So, that means no downloads and no UDID’s and you have a fully interactive app in your browser. There are other similar products already out there such as Pieceable or AppSurfer. However, Kickfolio differs in a couple regards. Kickfolio uses HTML5 and not Flash. Kickfolio’s CEO Edward Dowling said that, “Their solution was great, but it was not terribly performant.”
