AppDisco’s LatteScreen brings paid advertisements to Android lock screens

Like Android’s advertisement platform Locket, AppDisco presents Android device users with an advertisement, tailored to their preference, each time they turn on their device screen. Users can swipe either left or right to interact with the ad or simply unlock their device, and each impression is worth money in their account.

Although AppDisco’s LatteScreen platform has been available in more than a dozen regions worldwide since April 2013, the company is just now making a major push into the North American market via this week’s launch on the Google Play store.
