How Africa Will ‘Leapfrog’ Wired Networks

The cost for hard wired internet connectivity infrastructure is too high for the majority of the countries in Africa to implement. To remedy this problem the BRCK modem, which intelligently and seamlessly switches between Ethernet, Wifi, and 3G or 4G mobile phone networks and in extreme cases satellite connections, can be installed in areas with out hard wired connections. The use of mobile devices in Africa will boom because of the expanding data network, and applications specific to the needs of the continent will soon be developed.
