Sony invents QX Wi-Fi cameras for better quality photos on mobile devices

Sony created an external camera that can be wirelessly paired with an iPhone or an Android device to take pictures using the smartphone’s LCD. This allows for higher quality images with the convenience of a smartphone. It can be clipped onto the phone itself, or it can be remotely controlled nearby. However, in order to operate the camera, you must use Sony’s picture-taking app. It is relevant to the economic status of mobile tech development since I suspect more hobbyist photographers will be ditching their expensive cameras for more economical smartphone/camera hybrids.
