Uber Continues To Push Expansion Aggressively

Uber: Cross-platform mobile app that allows you to reserve taxi cabs, suv’s, & black cars on demand just recently raised $258 million from investors that include Google Ventures, TPG, and other notable VC’s. These funds have already been put to good use by launching in Indianapolis, St. Paul, and Atlanta ahead of schedule to fight off competitor Lyft. Uber has also filled some high profile executive positions with former Klout, & Google employees. It will be fascinating to watch Uber continue to expand internationally and form partnerships with some of the biggest organizations in the world like the NFL.
