This article is quite interesting. It talks about the number of parents who go through their childrens smartphones and how many track their kids using their mobile devices. The article states that 65% of parents with children between 8-12 that have smartphones, look through their phone. Which I think should be higher because they are 8-12 year olds who don’t need a personal mobile device in the first place. The article goes into some more data about what children use smartphones and other mobile technologies for and how parents deal with them. The data in this article presents an interesting thought. How have parenting styles, and the relationship between parents and their children changed through the development of mobile technology.
