The app is now allowing police to access unopened pictures and videos with a proper warrant. Civilians have been snapchatting inappropriate pictures and videos to their friends and even strangers. With the help of the police, Snapchat hopes to eliminate this issue. If the Snapchat is “unopened,” police have the right to access that information.
