In this article Mashable covers Twitter’s new tool for composing geo-targeted tweets. The ultimate goal is to take brands with multiple international Twitter accounts and combine them into one but still have separate tweets for separate locations. The article is unclear if the specific tweets are just divided by country or even more specific locations. I’m also interested to know how this will work if people chose to opt-out of having location services and GPS turned on their smartphone.
