Instagram’s Sponsored Advertising

Spinning off of the article that Farhood posted about pop-up ads and take-over ads negatively effecting user experience, now Instagram has implemented advertisements. Unlike the negative backlash of the full screen take-over ads, Instagram ads seem to be pretty effective and well-received. Although still in the beta testing with only a few brands implementing Instagram into their ad campaigns, it will be interesting to see if this is something that catches onto other companies and if it will prove to be beneficial.
