Pew Research Center released a report stating smartphone owners now outnumber feature phone (or “dumb phone”) owners in the United States. They also say that 46% of Americans are smartphone users up from about 35% last May. The report goes on to describe the breakdown of  the smartphone market by brand and of the three major OS’es (Blackberry, iOS , and Android) only Blackberry’s percentage decreased from last year. The official numbers were %20 Android, 19% iPhone and 6% Blackberry which does not hold well for Blackberry since they are struggling to keep up in the smartphone business.
