Apple on the sideline while Google and Samsung duke it out over watches and goggles | Fox News.

Apple announced on Tuesday that instead of creating technological gadgets such as watches or glasses, they will be refining their smartphones instead. Android is in the works of creating a smartwatch while Google is working on their latest project “Google Glass” which are glasses that act like a phone when worn. With Android’s watch, you are able to take pictures, count calories, and answer quick calls. Google Glass is more high tech as it is able to take pictures and videos, act as GPS, can answer/make phone calls and much more. Which is geekier? Wearing a smartwatch or wearing glasses? In Apple’s case, they are keeping it simple and sticking with a phone.

What killed BlackBerry: Terrible apps

What killed BlackBerry: Terrible apps – Sep. 25, 2013.

Blackberry brags that there over 120,000 apps available for its users to download. However, almost all of these apps including the popular ones are said to be terrible. On the other hand, Blackberry does have other major social media apps available for download (Facebook and Twitter), but still these apps are infrequently updated. Unlike iPhone and Android, Blackberry has no control over its own app store as the other companies have iTunes and Google Play. It seems to be getting harder and harder for Blackberry to market their products and apps available for download.
