8% of Americans Get Their News From Twitter

A new Pew Research Center Study announced that 8% of American adults get their news from Twitter. While 30% currently get their news from Facebook. The 8% that get their news from twitter are younger, more educated and more mobile. The study also revelid that twitter users on average are younger than Facebook users. Twitter according to the Pew study is more likely to have breaking news presented. This shows how different the user basis are for the two social media platforms.

Vine Update Gives Users New Features

The popular video sharing app Vine released an update today that allows users to edit videos. The new features are called Time Travel and Sessions. Time Travel allows a user to edit videos by reorganizing or removing a section of the video. Sessions allows users to be creating more than one vine at a time.

Previously users could only shoot continuous video so if a user made a mistake during the vine clip they would have to start all over. This could help vine continue to compete with Instagram which now allows user to post videos.
