Google Android Policies Clean Up Spam

Two very big changes in the Google Play Developer Policies that were announced last month are now going in to effect this week which restricts the use of ads being in notifications, and also ad-focused icons on a Android’s home screen is banned as well. Over $150M in revenue was generated from Google play apps that were using Airpush, which was the main features of the ads being pushed through. Developers now are scrambling to meet these guidelines or they risked their app being taken down from the Google Play app store. This is a great move by Google because it cleans up a lot of the spam on all devices that are using Android.
