New App Uses Drones to Deliver Textbooks

In Australia, commercial drone use is legal and so there is potential for drone-based industries. Flirtey is a new application launched by the company Zookal that uses drones to deliver textbooks to student. The student orders their book and a drone equipped with collision avoidance technology delivers it to their GPS location using the application on their smart phone. Drone use could revolutionize shipping; however, the use of GPS location raises privacy concerns.
